I considered Natalie to shoot my portfolio after having known her for quite a while. I'd seen some of her work, but being as we were friends that was never a focus of my relationship with her. On a very informal note, we scheduled a date, location, and price.
Weeks before the shoot, Natalie gave me a very informational packet of information around preparing for a portfolio shoot and specific instructions on how to plan for the shoot, including practicing to magazines and foreseeing my intentions in enough detail to plan my outfits and accessories.
When I got to the shoot, Natalie had set up several props, had a makeup artist/fashion coordinator on site, water, music, and a beautiful atmosphere. I couldn't *believe* how Natalie's demeanor became when I was under her care. She was *so* incredibly professional, patient, accommodating, nurturing...! She had tons of ideas, she took tons of creative shots from different perspectives and settings.
I suppose you could deduce that she was so impressive because she is my friend, but I believe differently. I have personally experienced Natalie in her element. I could have been anybody; it wasn't about being kind to a friend. It was about experiencing Natalie in the energy of her passion. I don't know who it was who coined her motto "I love what I do", but it could have come from anybody. If anything is obvious about Natalie and her photography, it's that she is passionate about what she does.
Afterwards, there were hundreds of photos to choose from. I felt like NONE needed altering of ANY kind. EACH ONE looked like a beautiful end-product. Lighting, background, from edge to edge, the pictures were unbelievable!! I've never loved the way I look the way I love myself in her photos. I wanted EVERY ONE (and still do!!!!!)!!!
If you are considering Natalie for a shoot or event, I cannot express enough what a TERRIFIC photographer to have happened across to consider. Aside from being a spectacular friend, her work ethic, passion, and SKILLS as a photographer are TOP NOTCH. I have no idea where else I could have found the degree of quality that I found in her without spending tons of money in disappointment after disappointment.
At the risk of seeming dramatic, I *sincerely* don't know *anyone else* who loves what they do like Natalie Cass of Cass Studios!!!

I first met Natalie Cass about 4-5 years ago, working at a photography studio in Colorado. I was immediately impressed with her attitude, her cheerfulness, and her ability to work with talent and other artists was superb. When I found out she also did motion picture still photography, I jumped at the opportunity to work with her on my latest film.
Not only did Natalie meld perfectly with our fast-paced production and crew, but she brought with her the old attitude and positivity by which I remember her. She was an absolute joy to work with and always had a smile on her face.
To top it all off, her pictures are absolutely stunning! It's obvious she listens and prepares thoroughly, because her pictures capture the nuance and essence of the film.
I look forward to a long future of collaboration with Natalie, and I highly recommend her for your film!

Natalie has an amazing skill set as a photographer and a person. Her quality is superb and her personality generates an amazing experience for models and actors who shoot with her. As an agent and booker for one of the largest agencies in the world, it is imperative that I market a model or actor with only the best photo representation possible. She has a great eye for beauty in her work and is able to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Thanks Natalie for all your hard work making all of Wilhelmina\\\'s talent look fantastic.

Natalie did an excellent job on my model photo shoot. The photos I have helped me get modeling work in both print and promotional jobs. They also have been long "withstanding" on my online public profiles. She is fun to work with and is very good at finding someone's perfect look.

Natalie has been so much fun to work with from day one. I first met her when my daughter was getting her face painted for a how - to video. She did an awesome job taking her photos afterward. Later my son was in a hair cutting video and his photo shoot was also well done; professional yet laid back and enjoyable. Natalie really puts the people she works with at ease. I was so impressed with her skills and personality that I asked her to shoot various family photos of me and my kids and they turned out wonderfully. She has a unique flair and charm that also bring out the best of each person she photographs. Recently she took some head shots of me for my agency profile and my own up and coming website. She is a class act.

I was selected as a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entreprenuer of the Year, and was asked to provide a picture for publication. I selected Natalie Cass to do my pictures.
Not only was it an enjoyable experience--by far the most fun I've ever had getting my picture taken--the pictures were amazing. We picked the ones we liked right there, immediately after taking them. She sent the half dozen or so we liked the best. I have never had so many positive comments on a picture before, from family and friends to total strangers commenting on the quality of the picture.
Oh, and by the way, I won the regional award, Entrepreneur of the Year!
